Rehabilitation Stages


Rehab Stage 0: Right after Operation in the patient's bed

PATIENT STATUS:       Inpatient.
REQUIRED UTILITIES:   Nurse.
RESPONSIBILITY:       Hospital.
PATIENT'S ACTION:     None. Patient is being moved. Weight load is negative.
COMA TIME:            Coma time plus at least one day.
TIME FRAME:           Consious patients: 1...10 days.

Rehab Stage 1: Following Operation in or at the patient's bed.

PATIENT STATUS:       Inpatient.
REQUIRED UTILITIES:   Nurse.
RESPONSIBILITY:       Hospital.
PATIENT'S ACTION:     Patient moves. Weight load is not applied.
TIME FRAME:           1...2 weeks.

Rehab Stage 2: Following Operation in the patient's room

PATIENT STATUS:       Inpatient.
REQUIRED UTILITIES:   Walker or Crutches.
RESPONSIBILITY:       Hospital. HEAVY METAL ATHLETIC may support the institution.
PATIENT'S ACTION:     Patient moves. Weight load is zero to very low.
TIME FRAME:           1...3 weeks.

Rehab Stage 3: Following Operation in the hospital

PATIENT STATUS:       Inpatient.
REQUIRED UTILITIES:   Crutches or similar.
RESPONSIBILITY:       Hospital with support by HEAVY METAL ATHLETIC in on-site-gyms.
PATIENT'S ACTION:     Patient moves. Weight load is low.
TIME FRAME:           1...4 weeks

Rehab Stage 4: In the Rehabilitation Unit / Clinic

PATIENT STATUS:       Inpatient or Guided Outpatient.
REQUIRED UTILITIES:   Crutches or Cane.
RESPONSIBILITY:       HEAVY METAL ATHLETIC GYM.
PATIENT'S ACTION:     Patient moves. Weight load is low to very moderate using Power Machines.
TIME FRAME:           1...6 weeks

Rehab Stage 5: Outpatient Rehabilitation

PATIENT STATUS:       Outpatint. Patient may require assistance for coming to the unit.
REQUIRED UTILITIES:   Cane.
RESPONSIBILITY:       HEAVY METAL ATHLETIC GYM.
PATIENT'S ACTION:     Patient moves. Weight load is moderate.
TIME FRAME:           1...3 months.

Rehab Stage 6: Outpatient Rehabilitation

PATIENT STATUS:       Outpatient.
REQUIRED UTILITIES:   None.
RESPONSIBILITY:       HEAVY METAL ATHLETIC GYM.
PATIENT'S ACTION:     Patient moves. Weight load is moderate using Power Machines and small dumbbells
TIME FRAME:           1...4 months.

Rehab Stage 7: Certified Rehabilitation Center

PATIENT STATUS:       Outpatient.
REQUIRED UTILITIES:   None.
RESPONSIBILITY:       HEAVY METAL ATHLETIC GYM.
PATIENT'S ACTION:     Patient moves. Weight load is moderate.
TIME FRAME:           1...6 months.

Rehab Stage 8: Certified Rehabilitation Center or Gym

PATIENT STATUS:       Outpatient.
REQUIRED UTILITIES:   None.
RESPONSIBILITY:       HEAVY METAL ATHLETIC GYM.
PATIENT'S ACTION:     Patient moves. Weight load is moderate to normal.
TIME FRAME:           1...12 months.

Rehab Stage 9: In the Gym (Aurum)

PATIENT STATUS:       Outpatient / Member under Conditions.
REQUIRED UTILITIES:   None.
RESPONSIBILITY:       HEAVY METAL ATHLETIC GYM.
PATIENT'S ACTION:     Patient moves. Weight load is normal.
TIME FRAME:           1...12 months.

Rehab Stage X: In the Gym (Argentum or Aurum)

PATIENT STATUS:       Normal Member with certain disabilities.
REQUIRED UTILITIES:   None.
RESPONSIBILITY:       HEAVY METAL ATHLETIC GYM.
PATIENT'S ACTION:     Patient moves. Weight load is normal to high.
TIME FRAME:           3...18 months.

Rehab Stage Post-Rehab: In the Gym (Argentum or Aurum)

PATIENT STATUS:       Normal Member with preconditions.
REQUIRED UTILITIES:   None.
RESPONSIBILITY:       HEAVY METAL ATHLETIC GYM.
PATIENT'S ACTION:     Patient moves. Weight load is high to very high.
TIME FRAME:           6...24 months.

Rehab 0 ... 9 can take 6 to 18 months.
Rehab Stage 0-2 is where the hospital is responsible.
Rehab Stage 3 is where HEAVY METAL ATHLETIC supports in the hospital.
Rehab Stage 4 and up is where HEAVY METAL ATHLETIC begins.
Rehab-X can take another 6 to 18 months.
The total minimum is one year.
Post-Rehab can take an additional 6 to 24 months.
So the very minimum is 18 months in total and the grand total can reach up to five years.
We highly recommend a life-long body workout. Become healthy if you're ill. Stay healthy at the highest possible level.
More repetitions lead to more muscle mass. Less repetions lead to more muscular power. Combine it.
Rehabilitation Gyms must be barrier free (updated MMX directive).
Every Gym must be 100% barrier free from 2050 on (according to the MML directive). A required elevator to reach the gym can no longer grant an "A+ or A" degree. Such a gym can reach "A-" at most.
They must be accessible by wheelchair users and useable by blind and/or deaf persons without problems.
Wheelchairs, White Canes (for vision impaired or (legally - mainly 20/100+) blind), Glasses, Hearing aids are not considered as 'Required Utilities' in this context.
White canes are for blind and partially blind people. If the remaining eye is low-vision, a white cane may be used for safety reasons.
Red canes are for deafblind people or vision impaired and hearing impaired people.
Yellow canes are for people with very low vision (20/60...20/95 and non-3D-vision).
Green canes are for people with low vision (e.g. 20/40...20/60 and non-3D-vision).
Blue canes are used by people with cognitive or developmental disabilities.
